Trading table
Hi everyone, over the weekend we will have a virtual trading table – if you have items you want to sell, please bring them with you. Create a printed ad for those items (with images) and your contact details. We’ll have a free space where you can place your ad. Don’t leave your items on the table as we won’t have anyone manning the table.
Also, don’t forget to bring CASH for the raffle, tickets will be 3 for $5; 7 for $10 or 15 for $20. We’re only selling them to convention attendees, of which there are 40, so you have a great chance to win the amazing first prize – an Epson printer.

Ten days to go!
Hi everyone
Not long now till the opening of the convention. If you’re coming on Friday night to register, we’ll have all the images on display, including digital.
We’re very excited to announce that
Epson have generously sponsored us by providing a P706 printer
to raffle over the weekend.
Please support our sponsor by joining this Facebook group where you can get support, hints and tips on printing and enhancing your photography experience. Epson also supply a large range of photographic papers.
We also have three digital subscriptions to Peter Eastway’s Better Photography Magazine and gift vouchers from Cex Coffs which can be used in the various eateries in the club or at the club bottle shop.
We would also like to invite anyone to register who might have forgotten – you won’t be able to attend the dinner but you can still attend the presentations.
We look forward to welcoming you.

Only 3 weeks to go
Hi everyone
There’s only THREE WEEKS till our convention and plans are in full swing. We’d like to advise that Len’s workshop is now FULL.
There’s still plenty of seats left if you haven’t registered yet. We did say registrations close Friday 1st May – which is obviously incorrect, so we wanted to confirm that close of business Tuesday 2nd May is the final deadline.
There will be 310 printed images and 180 digital images on display and the scoring ranges for images are as follows:
Digital – colour | Digital -mono | Prints – Creative | Prints – Large – colour | Prints – Large – Mono | Prints – Small | Grand Total | |
<7 | 1 | 3 | 1 | 1 | 6 | ||
7-11 | 69 | 75 | 69 | 77 | 85 | 58 | 433 |
12-15 | 20 | 12 | 4 | 12 | 2 | 1 | 51 |
Grand Total | 90 | 90 | 73 | 90 | 88 | 59 | 490 |
We look forward to see you all.

Information for convention attendees
Hi everyone
Registrations are trickling in and we’ve had a few questions. The venue for the convention is C.ex Coffs which is central in Coffs, with multiple accommodation options nearby.
The rally on Saturday afternoon will be a good opportunity to dust off you walking shoes and also your shutter finger! Basic details here You will receive the subjects on the day.
The only catering we are providing is dinner Saturday night and a tea/coffee station. You can choose lunches to your own taste/budget with a cafe and 2 restaurants in the club and many local cafes and takeaway options within s short walk from the club.
Clubs – please make sure you have confirmed who will be attending the AGM and remit payment to us for MyPhotoClub charges, if you haven’t done so already.

Agenda and registration
Hi everyone
We’re very excited to open the registration for this years’ convention and links to the forms are included below.
You’ll notice we’re organising a photo rally for Saturday afternoon – nothing too strenuous, but remember to bring your camera! On Sunday we’ll have an interactive session discussing the images, again nothing too scary – we want people to contribute to the day. There’s bound to be plenty of experience and ideas in the room, so please come ready to share. We’ll provide a list of suggested locations and more detail on the day.
The agenda will kick off at 10am both days. This means we don’t have to request special club entry and also reduce catering costs – there will be tea and coffee available, but we’re not providing morning tea. Then we will finish in the middle of the day on both days and you can arrange your own lunch to suit your taste and budget. There are plenty of options close by.
By making these changes, we have kept the conference charges as low as we can, so we hope you support these changes.
